About the Event
We will be offering a one hour hands on cookery session for parents and children led by food writer and Head Chef of The Social Distancing Kitchen.
Join Helen Nathan for a hands on cookery session and learn to prepare an impressive but deceptively simple dessert for special occasions or a lockdown treat. Please note that honeycomb requires boiling sugar at high temperatures, so supervision for all children is required. This cook-a-long is for all ages and no pre cookery knowledge is required!
You will need the following ingredients to join the cook-a-long:
200g digestive biscuits
100g dark chocolate
100g milk chocolate
1 tsp vanilla extract
200ml whipping cream
small punnet raspberries
For the honeycomb:
200g caster sugar
5 tbsp golden syrup
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
plastic storage bag
silicon baking mat tray or baking tray lined with greaseproof paper
Session will be approx 1 hour.
