This privacy policy describes how and why Volunteers Foundation (VF) obtains, stores and processes data which can identify you; how you can instruct us if you would prefer to limit the use and disclosure of that information and the procedures we have in place to safeguard your privacy. VF holds personal information on volunteers and supporters. VF is committed to safeguarding your privacy, while providing a high quality of service. Volunteers Foundation will treat your personal information as confidential and your details will not be given or sold to anyone.

 

What personal information we collect and how we use it
If you support us, for example make a donation, volunteer, register to fundraise,  sign up for an event, we will usually collect:

• Your name

• Your contact details

• Your email 

Where it is appropriate we may also ask for information relating to your health (for example if you are taking part in a high risk event). 

We will mainly use your data to:

• Provide you with the services, products or information you asked for

• Administer your donation or support your fundraising, including processing gift aid

• Keep a record of your relationship with us

• Ensure we know how you prefer to be contacted

• Understand how we can improve our services, products or information.

 

Use of Your Email Address

If you provide us with your email address when you register, at any of our fund-raising events or else, we will occasionally send you email with our newsletters, recommendations or notices of events.

 

Who We Share It With

Volunteers Foundation will not give, sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others.

We collect user feedback. We do not typically respond to user feedback in the form of email. We do collect testimonials that appear on the site from our feedback forms, but only after we have obtained permission from the senders.

All information gathered on the Volunteers Foundation site is stored and maintained in secure facilities that limit access to authorized personnel only. All Volunteer Foundation’s volunteers are briefed about the charity’s privacy and security policies on a regular basis.

If we change our privacy policy, we will post a notice on our site so our users are aware of the change in what information we collect, how we use it, and/or under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
