The VF team visits Kibera every year generally in October. We give the chance to a limited number of volunteers (up to 10) to join the team and support the activities during the 2 weeks period.

The activities vary each time as we try to cover different areas such as Education, Health, Girls Empowerment, Sport, etc.

 

Volunteers would normally lead and take part in field activities having an important role in knowledge and skill transfer, organisation, support, etc during activities such as the yearly school trip with the children, the one-to-one talks with the parents, the organisation of one of the yearly health checks, etc.
