Another break in the wall

Breaking down wall leads to new opportunities and a brighter future, a deliberate and creative process of dismantling barriers and opening up to new possibilities.

We are excited to announce the extension of our current facilities at Volunteers Foundation Academy to include the neighbouring property so to have double of the space for our children to study, play and relax.

Opening to a wall for our school is a key unlocking a door to a world of endless possibilities. We want to celebrate this moment as a symbol of breaking free from the constraints of limited resources and lack of opportunities, and stepping into a space of new beginnings and boundless potential. Like a seedling breaking through the surface of the earth, the opening to the wall represents a powerful emergence from the darkness and into the light. It is a beacon of hope for the students, teachers, and community members, signaling the start of a new era of growth, learning, and progress. Just as a butterfly emerges from its cocoon, the school can spread its wings and soar to new heights, achieving feats that once seemed impossible.

Similarly, in education, the breaking down of walls has been a crucial element in providing access to quality education for all. In Kenya, for instance, Volunteers Foundation has been breaking down walls by providing high-quality education to underprivileged children in Kibera, where access to education is limited. Through the provision of scholarships, teacher training, and community engagement, Volunteers Foundation has created a path to education for children who might otherwise be denied this opportunity. By breaking down the wall of poverty and inequality, Volunteers Foundation is empowering a generation of children to achieve their full potential and break the cycle of poverty.

We thanks all the people who made this possible being sure that the new facilities will have a transformational effect on our activities in Kibera.
